Aspera Ad Astra Reborn

Well, after reading this and that about Google Chrome and all the attention it is getting, I grabbed a quick download of the "thing".

After a first couple of hours of trying it out and actually liking the sleek design and the speed (it is fast), and enjoying the fact that all the sites I regularly use are looking okay (especially the ones I do myself), I checked my logs for any phonecalls it might have made to the google home... and I was a bit surprised, as it didn't really do anything "bad" or "evil" on a first look.

I sure hope I find the time to look at it more thoroughly, and perhaps take a glance at the source code.

Aside from that: I found it as a pleasant surfing experience, and for non critical stuff... why not give it a chance.
