Well, I just finished installing Ubunut 8.10 on a Dell Vostro 1510.

It worked like a charm, just grab a recent ISO, boot, install.

Some hints:

- If you want to run Windows as Dual Boot, finish installing it before trying to install Ubuntu.
- Activate 3rd- party Drivers for for Nvidia and the Broadcom WLan- card.

So far even suspend and hibernate seem to work correctly.

This is what I got:

Sweet White Wine Wedges With Warm Red Wine

Serves 5
You will need:

40ml red wine
30ml white wine

Instructions:

1. pre-heat the oven to 210 C
2. microwave the red wine
3. sift the white wine
4. bake for 90 minutes and serve hot

Yum.
